Subtle Movements and Inside Looks-Final 1

March 9th, 2007
Completed 04/2007
To take closer look click on the image to view. This group of stills edited together as one is my favorite. If you look close, you'll see movement where you don't expect to. You will always see inside objects that are already bare. You will see things in a new and different light hopefully as I did. There was so much life around me when I ventured off on the beach...some was still there, some had passed away and others only left their mark, as I did on this place in time.

Running Towards Freeing Water-Final 2

March 9th, 2007
This work was completed and edited by 04/2007.
As I worked on my editing for this particular video (which you may click on to view), I again chose color as my overall choice in editing. I found that not only could I alter the real in a chaotic way, but I could create sunsets where there were no sunsets. I could create the feeling of a sunny afternoon when in actuality, the sun was fading away. Take a look to find out more.

Mystery of the Past Meets the Present-Final3

March 9th, 2007- Completion of editing done in 04/2007
If you click on the image to your left to view the video of stills you'll find a world of dreams and hints of the past. A calming effect of nature, yet a chaotic world of technology. You'll see the world altered from it's true state, into something better depicting my view of what was going on in my head when I created this video still.
Enjoy.

This is an in progress editing I've done on some photo stills from my best of five. I'll be editing the finals with the use of color as means to bring out the extraordinary in the everyday.

Left Behind on Land

March 19th, 2007- 4:25 PM
Location- Venturining the Private Beach.
As I explored this new territory, I found that with the life in the water, also was death on the land. Creatures, objects, memories all left as a mark on this place. It made me think of all the past I was walking over and the memories I would leave here as well.

Breaking Free into the Breakwater

March 19th, 2007- 4:10 PM
Location- Private Beach off of Lake Drive
I broke free of the trail and felt the lake breeze against my skin (click on picture to view). After a long walk, I finally reached my destination. It was spectacular.

Mystery of the Past

March 19th, 2007- 4:03 PM
Location: Private Beach on Lake Drive
As I was walking on Lake Drive I came across this trail down to the beach. The trail and the house to the right of it had so much history. As I explored further, I found a lot more "marks" of history on this deserted beach. Take a look. (Click on picture to view video-to see each indivisual still longer after clip has played, click and hold the playback and drag mouse along to view stills).

Relating to the Atmosphere

March 19th, 2007- 3:05PM
Location-The yard of an area underconstruction on Downer Ave.
This slideshow of photos (click on picture to view) interests me because in this space, I found that I could tie everything I saw into everything else in the space. There was life where you wouldn't expect life to have been, jumping from the ground to the reflection of tree in water. I found it quite amusing and I found myself following the cracks from the dried up mud from object to object as I explored this area.

Life within an Object

March 19th, 3:oo PM
Location: The yard of an area underconstruction on Downer Ave.

I especially enjoyed this video clip (click on picture to play) because, I like that fact that you see a picture within a picture and a life within the life of the shaking water. It tells me that if we look deeper into something, we are bound to find more than we first expected.
